Nickel gamma- Alumina for Hydrogenation Catalyst

 

Description:

Using alumina as the support and nickel as the primary active component, this catalyst is widely used for hydrogenation dearomatization of aviation kerosene, hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexane, hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanol hydrotreating, hydrofining of industrial hexane, and hydrogenation of unsaturated aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons such as white oil and lubricating oil. It can also be used for efficient liquid-phase desulfurization and as a sulfur protective agent in catalytic reforming processes.


This catalyst has high strength and excellent activity. In hydrogenation refining processes, it can reduce aromatic or unsaturated hydrocarbons to the ppm level. The catalyst is in a reduced state for stabilization.


This catalyst has the following characteristics:

1. High hydrogenation activity: Nickel has outstanding activity for promoting hydrogenation reactions.

2. Excellent mechanical and chemical stability: The alumina support provides high mechanical strength and thermal/chemical stability.

3. High selectivity: It exhibits high hydrogenation activity and high selectivity under suitable conditions.

4. Regenerability: The oxidized catalyst can be regenerated by reduction treatment.  

5. Wide pH range: It operates stably in a wide pH range from 0 to 14.

6. Low cost: Nickel and alumina are relatively inexpensive raw materials, allowing for an economical catalyst.
